Dances are ‘called’ with a brief walk though before each. In just a few weeks you can learn the simple footwork and terminology

We offer ongoing weekly classes, you can join at any time. In addition to our weekly classes, we offer regular weekend workshops, some with expert Dance Masters from Ireland!

You are very welcome to visit one of our locations to observe a class – Bring a friend!

WEEKEND WORKSHOPS for BEGINNERS:

When scheduled, weekend workshops are usually held on the first Sunday of the month at the Burbank Moose Lodge, 1901 W. Burbank Blvd (Side entrance)

A 2-hour workshop for beginners – 1:00pm to 3:00pm - $12.00 per workshop hosted by The Los Angeles Irish Set Dancers. Michael Breen, instructor.

Throughout the year we are very lucky to have workshops with visiting expert Dance Masters from Ireland and elsewhere. In the past we have welcomed: From Ireland, Patrick O’Dea, Pat Murphy, Margaret Joyce, Mary Hughes, Padraig Timmins and from San Francisco Michael Murphy

Workshops with visiting Dance Masters are for THREE hours – They are usually held on a Saturday and/or Sunday afternoon - Noon to 3:00pm - $15 per workshop

LARRY BANE SEISIUN

The first Sunday workshops are usually followed by the monthly, Larry Bane Seisiun – 3:00pm to 6:00pm. The Larry Bane Seisiun is an afternoon of LIVE traditional Irish and folk music, songs, recitations and set, ceili and step dancing

The Sieisun is lead by well-known County Galway musician Des Regan and friends

A wonderful afternoon's entertainment for the whole family

No charge but donations are gratefully accepted to pay for the facility and expenses

ALL musicians, dancers and performers donate their time and talent
